Nothing says "wedding" like a big, white dress hanging in your closet...
This bag contains my wedding veil, as well as the tiara that will adorn my head on the Big Day. The baseball cap was a gift from a neighbor with a sense of humor. I see it being used often in the weeks before the wedding, as I work to make sure the world knows that I, Mary Thomas, am getting MARRIED! That should get only a little annoying. Alternately, it will be handy on my delayed honeymoon (must finish nursing school first), as I work to get complementary upgrades for me and my new(ish) husband.
Anyhoo, my dress has come home with me, and now I must start working on (A) toning my arms, (B) losing some hippage, and (C) learning again to walk in some semblance of a heel so I can wear at least moderately sexy shoes to the wedding. For the reception, I will be changing into my white platform flip-flops from American Eagle, so I only have to worry about a small amount of sexy shoe time.
One four months and seven days to go until the wedding! And in about 2 1/2 weeks, we will start to cohabitate! Look for many exciting and entertaining stories as we get used to being the kind of couple that actually, you know, lives together.
