Let's talk about...

...inflatable lawn decorations

I am in love with the snowglobe with the Peanuts gang inside and the snowman that looks like Frosty the Snowman from the old holiday cartoon. My husband says that he will NEVER have one of those in his yard. I hope that someday we have a daughter who asks for one, causing him to cave.

...the calm that comes when you finish nursing school

I didn't really expect to be overcome with sheer boredom once school was over. I was expecting more a feeling of relief. Luckily, I work at Bath and Body Works, and holiday hours have been filling my time! I am also knitting and reading and anxiously awaiting the arrival of my best friend's baby, due 1/11/07!

...how much I love my dog

He is just so cute. And I think he pretty well potty-trained, except for some random accidents here and there. He even rings a bell hanging on the door when he has to go outside. Isn't he a genius? Now, if I could just get him to stop chewing things up...like the new book of stamps he got his paws on today!

...NOT sending Christmas cards

Each time a card arrived in the mail, I felt a little pang of guilt, but I just couldn't get it together to send cards this year. Expect to hear from me for Valentine's Day!

...the job offer we have all been waiting for

I got a message on Thursday extending to me an offer for my first choice unit at the hospital at which I am currently employed. It will be a big change and a big challenge, but I can't wait! Once I have spoken to the HR rep and accepted said offer, I will tell you all about it!

...my wish to you for a Merry Christmas/Happy Hannukah

From my house to yours, wishes for a bright and beautiful holiday season and all the best the world has to offer!

Oh my god, I'm so happy you got a job offer! It wouldn't be long Nurses are in high demand, I'm shocked they didn't come to your house and ask you. LOL

I like those inflatable ornaments too, I like the lighted deer families too and the lighted Christmas trees.

Please, enjoy the hell out finishing nursing school, and enjoy the time off you have. When I was searching for a job I couldn't enjoy all the time I had because I was worried about working, now I wish I had all that free time back. lol

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
