I have been finding new things here on the Web that make me super-duper happy. The first is Google Reader, which I have finally figured out how to use. Actually, I knew how to use it all along, but I didn't know the super easy way to add things to the Reader, so I was lazy about adding blogs to my line-up. Now that I have figured out what the little "Subscribe to this page..." button is all about, I have successfully added almost all my favorite blogs to my reader. This means I have been able to add even more blog feeds to the Reader because I am not wasting so much time visiting blogs that have not updated. Well, I am still wasting time, I guess...but it's a better waste of time now!
The second is something is both thrilling to me and a little pathetic. And it happens over on Facebook. Facebook has an application called Pieces of Flair on it. Basically, your profile gets an old school cork bulletin board on it, and you can hang flair on it (If you have never seen the movie Office Space, flair is basically the pins that people who work at restaurants like TGIFriday's wear on their uniforms. There is a restaurant in that movie that is sort of a mockery of Friday's. And if you haven't seen that movie, you really need to. Now.). You can send flair to other people, and this gives you credits to get your own flair. I have become addicted to flair. I have a serious problem.
I present to you My Flair...
Clearly, I am running out of room and will soon have to start prioritizing my flair. Is Mary Poppins less important than Coach Taylor? Do I like Crocs or Uggs better? Do I need two LOL Cats, or will one do? Is one Yankees button enough? Is it really necessary to declare with flair my love for Firefox?
I don't have to go back to work until Wednesday night. And that's good news because it appears my brain is busy enough...

I'm so glad you posted about the 'Pieces of Flair' application, because I keep getting pieces sent to me, and I had no idea what it was. I guess i never bothered to check out the application and kept ignoring them! haha.
