In the spirit of the randomness that is the blogosphere on Friday...

I noticed that a lot of my favorite bloggers went with "whatever is on my mind" method for posting today, and I am going to jump right on that bandwagon and buckle up for safety! Because I have a string of things to comment on, and they are not at all related, so this is what you get.

#####
I have not yet come up with a way that I like to segue into other topics within this here blog. For right now, I am going to try out what you see above. I would go with the asterisk, but one of those favorite bloggers is already using that. We already have enough in common...so I don't want to force the issue.
#####
I have started a new blog. It is called Mountain (Step)Mama, and it will be more active once I am actually, you know, a stepmom. For now, it's up and running (and lovely thanks to one of Miss Zoot's free designs), but it isn't getting posted to so often. One might argue that this doesn't always get posted too so often. One might be told to shut up, then.
#####
Lucinda has big news! She is one of my semi-heroines because she is stepmom to two teenage girls and also has a baby and, well, the Big News. It does my heart good to know that there are other women out there following the path that I am setting out on.
#####
I signed up to work NIGHT SHIFT Sunday night. That would be 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, a.k.a. The Hours I Am Usually Sleeping. I promised I would be there...but I didn't promise to be effective.
#####
The wedding is in THREE MONTHS!!!!! My first dress-fitting is on Monday. Stop the world! I might need to get off for a little while!
#####
And finally, Bill and I are having a date night tonight. We are going out to dinner at a local brewpub. I can't wait!

Edited to add: Okay, I don't like the #####. Stay tuned to see what I can come up with next!

Aww, I'm blushing over being called a favorite blogger! Sister, the stars are not entirely mine - use them, and use them proudly! :)

Happy 3 month mark! Wheee! You are going to have THE BEST time.

I hope you have a better dress fitting than mine, which involved a lot of "ohmygod"ing by the seamstress when she realized how much weight I'd gained. Ahh. Such a great feeling.
